In Guadalupe, Nuevo León, México, The Boxing Showcase and Kazan Promotions will offer the “Resilience Fight Night” card, on March 10.
Derived from the support and facilities provided by the government of Guadalupe, Nuevo León, the 2023 tour of the Texan promoter The Boxing Showcase will continue this suburban municipality on March 10 with “Resilience Fight Night”, a program that is headlined by two WBC championship fights and the exclusive presentation of Mariana “La Barby” Juárez.
In what represents a vote of confidence for the fans, the company run by José Miguel López, in co-promotion with Kazan Promotions, is preparing its repetition in the neighboring municipality of the royal capital, where on February 24 it will launch the one that promises be an explosive season.
As is already a healthy tradition, the event will be wrapped up by the celebration of Boxing Week, in which from the first day related activities are held and aimed at promoting our noble sport and which ends, precisely, with the presentation of “Resilience Fight Night” that contemplates 11 balanced bouts in which priority is given to talents from New Leon and Texans.
In addition to international combinations, there will be 2 contests in which the World Boxing Council regional championships will be at stake.
The confrontation of ladies stands out, between Raquel “Pretty Beast” Miller and Karina “La Destructora” Ávila; With three professional fights but a wide amateur background, the one in Tepic will represent a tough test for Miller, from California and undefeated in 12 bouts (with 5 knockouts. Her matchup will contest the WBC International women’s super middleweight title.
In another title fight, Luis Gallegos and Carlos Reyes Torres will fight for the USNBC title endorsed by the WBC in the super lightweight category.
Gallegos is undefeated in 19 fights, while Torres shows numbers of 5 wins, 7 losses, 1 draw, with 2 knockouts.
The special event will be led by multiple world champion Mariana Juárez (55-12-4, 19 KOs), who is on her way to a new championship opportunity.
Seven more combinations will complete this second program of 2023, whose celebration would not be possible without the collaboration of the Institute of Culture and Sports of Guadalupe and the Office of Conventions and Visitors (OCV) of Monterrey.
