Pruning in the Garden by Haney and Lomachenko

Two of boxing’s superlative pound-for-pound fighters will battle for supremacy of the 135-pound division this Saturday when Devin “The Dream” Haney defends his undisputed crown against former world champion Vasiliy Lomachenko from Ukraine at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. In Las Vegas.

Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) is a two-time Olympic gold medalist who compiled a staggering 396-1 record as an amateur before winning world titles at featherweight, junior lightweight and lightweight.

This Friday both passed the official weigh-in. Haney posted 134.9 pounds, while Loma posted 140 pounds.
