“Pitbull” Cruz aims to seize the lead on Spence Jr. vs. Crawford undercard

On July 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, a highly anticipated bout for the undisputed welterweight title will take place between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford, but doggone it, there`s even more to relish!

To further ginger up, embellish plus distinguish this card, the WBC Silver Lightweight Champion Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz (24-2-1, 17 KO’s) will return to the ring to face the undefeated American Giovanni Cabrera (21-0,7 KO’s), in a bout scheduled for twelve rounds.

Since he was defeated by Gervonta Davis in December 2021, ‘Pitbull’ Cruz has snapped back with two stoppage wins. He knocked out Yuriorkis Gamboa on April 26, 2022 and then he knocked out Eduardo Ramírez in the Crypto.com Arena on September 4.

Cruz, from Mexico City, is ranked as the third best lightweight in the WBC, in addition to holding the WBC Silver crown.

Referring to the tale of “Pitbull,” he has been a professional since 2015 and has fought in various cities throughout the United States. However, this will be the first time he steps into the ring in Las Vegas, Nevada.
