Pierce O’Leary will make the fourth defense of his World Boxing Council International super lightweight title against Darragh Foley, in a clash scheduled at the Belfast SSE Arena in Ireland, next Friday, June 28.
O’Leary (14-0, 9 KOs) last fought in Birmingham in March, when he defeated undefeated Hovhannes Martirosyan in impressive fashion, stopping him in the ninth round.
Foley (22-5-1, 10), the Irish southpaw based in Sydney, Australia, was recently in action in Manchester, where he was defeated on points by Jack Catterall.
This Thursday the official weigh-in of the fight took place, where both registered 139.8 pounds.
The fight is promoted by Queensberry Promotions and will be broadcast on TNT Sports and the fight supervisor is the WBC Vice President Houcine Houichi.
