1985.- Mexican Daniel Zaragoza defended his WBC bantamweight title by defeating American Freddie Jackson by disqualification in 7 rounds due to a head butt. The bout took place at the Concorde Boxing Arena in Oranjestad, Aruba.
1994.- Japanese Hiroshi Kawashima defeated Mexican José Luis Bueno by decision in Yokohama, Japan. In this fight the WBC super flyweight title was at stake.
2013.- In a fight between Mexicans, Abner Mares knocked out Daniel Ponce De León in the ninth round in Las Vegas, Nevada. With this victory, Mares conquered the WBC featherweight title.
2013.- In an entertaining match, Floyd Mayweather defeated Robert “Fantasma” Guerrero by decision, in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this fight the WBC welterweight title was at stake.
