1971.- Italian Bruno Arcari defeated Brazilian Joao Henrique by decision in 15 rounds, in Rome, Italy, defending his WBC super lightweight title.
1973.- Mexican Ricardo Arredondo defeated Japanese Apollo Yoshio by decision, at the Kyuden Gym in Fukuoka. With this victory Arredondo defended his WBC super featherweight title.
1976.- David Kotey of Ghana, knocked out the Japanese Harugi Uehara in 12 rounds, in Accra, defending his WBC featherweight title.
1993.- In a fight held at the Palais Marcel Cerdan in France, the Congolese Anaclet Wamba defeated David Vedder by decision in 12 rounds, defending the WBC cruiserweight title.
1993.- British Nigel Benn retained his WBC super middleweight title, defeating North American Mauro Galvano by decision, in a fight held in Glasgow, Scotland.
1993.- Pernell Whitaker won the WBC welterweight title by defeating James Mcgirt by decision at Madison Square Garden in New York.
2004.- Thai Veeraphol Nakhonluang defeated Japanese Toshiaki Nishioka by decision, in Saitama, Japan. In this fight the WBC bantamweight title was at stake.
2004.- Mexican Oscar Larios defended his WBC super bantamweight title, defeating Japanese Shigeru Nakazato by decision, in Saitama, Japan.
2010.- Armenian Vic Darchinyan defeated Mexican Rodrigo Guerrero by decision, at Rancho Mirage in California. With this victory Vic retained the WBC super flyweight title.
2010.- Devon Alexander retained his WBC super lightweight title, by knocking out Colombian Juan Urango in 8 rounds, in Uncasville, Connecticut.
