1978.- Italian Rocco Mattioli defended his WBC super welterweight title by knocking out Elisha Obed from Bahamas in 7 rounds in Melbourne, Australia. With this win he defended the WBC super welterweight title.

1995.- Dominican Hector Acero Sanchez defeated Julio Gervacio by decision in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In this fight the WBC super bantamweight title was at stake.

2000.- Thai Veeraphol Nakhonluang defeated Mexican Adan Vargas by decision in Bangkok. With this triumph Thai champion defended his WBC bantamweight title.

2000.- Cuban Juan Carlos Gomez knocked out Mohamed Siluvangi from Congo in 2 rounds, defending his WBC cruise title. The bout took place in Luebeck, Germany.
