1993.- South Korean, Sung Kil Moon, defeated Argentinian, Carlos Salazar, by split decision, successfully defending the WBC super flyweight championship. The fight took place at the Education Culture Center of Seoul. The third man in the ring was Toby Gibson. The Judges were Rudy Jordan, Malcolm Bulner and Karl Milligan.

1993.- Mexican Ricardo “Finito” López defended his WBC straw-weight title by knocking out Thai Saman Sorjaturong in the second round. The match took place in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
