1980:The legend Larry Holmes made the fifth defense of his WBC heavyweight title defeating Lorenzo Zanon via KO in round 6. The supervisor of this fight was our Lifetime president, Don José Sulaimán.

1990: Pernell Whitaker defeated Fred Pendleton by unanimous decision in a fight held in Atlantic City. With this victory he successfully defended his WBC lightweight title for the second time.

1993: British Paul Hodkinson defeated American Ricardo Cepeda via TKO in the fourth round to earn the third and final defense of his WBC featherweight title.

2007: Chad Dawson defeated Thomasz Adamek via unanimous decision to defend his WBC 175-pound belt. Adamek was knocked down in the seventh round by a Dawson left to the body. Dawson went to the canvas in the tenth round as a result of a direct right hand from Adamek.
