1999.- Floyd Joy Sinclair, better known as Floyd Mayweather, defended his WBC super featherweight crown defeating Argentinian contender Carlos Alberto Ramón Rios via UD. The bout was at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

2001.- Erik “Terrible” Morales conquered the WBC featherweight title, defeating Guty Espadas by decision in 12 rounds, in a fight held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

2006.- Mexican Humberto “Zorrita” Soto knocked out Colombian Oscar Leon in the seventh round, to conquer the interim WBC featherweight title, in Los Mochis, Sinaloa.

2018.- American David Benavidez defended his WBC super middleweight title by defeating Colombian Ronald Gavril by decision, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
