1975.- At the Nihon University Auditorium in Tokyo, Japanese Ishimatsu Suzuki knocked out Costa Rican Alvaro Rojas in the 14th round, defending his WBC lightweight title.

1993.- At the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada, North American Kevin Kelley won the WBC featherweight title by defeating Mexican Goyo Vargas by decision.

1994.- In combat between Japanese warriors, Yasuei Yakushiji defeated Joichiro Tatsuyoshi by decision in Nagoya, Japan. In this fight the WBC bantamweight title was disputed.

1998.- Filipino Manny Pacquiao knocked out Thai Chatchai Sasakul in the eighth round, in Bangkok, Thailand. In this fight the WBC flyweight title was disputed.

2004.- Mexican José Luis Castillo defeated Cuban Joel Casamayor by decision in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this fight the WBC lightweight title was disputed.

2010.- Mexican Humberto Soto defended his WBC lightweight title, defeating Urbano Antillon by decision in Anaheim, California.

2021.- In combat between North American fighters, Devin Haney defended his WBC lightweight title by defeating Joseph Diaz by decision. The fight took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
