1988.- Colombian Miguel “Happy” Lora defended his WBC bantamweight title by defeating American Alberto Davila by decision. The match took place at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, California.

1992.- Mexican Julio César Chávez knocked out American Frankie Mitchell in the fourth round, defending his WBC super lightweight title. The fight took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

1994.- Russian Yuri Arvachakov knocked out Hugo Soto in the eighth round, in Tokyo, Japan. The WBC flyweight title was on the line in this bout.

2009.-American Devon Alexander knocked out British Junior Witter in 8 rounds at Rancho Mirage in California. In this fight the WBC super lightweight title was at stake.
