DAZN Group Chief Executive John Skipper announced at a press conference that former WBC middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin will fight for DAZN, the world’s largest sports broadcasting platform.
The global partnership involves six bouts between GGG Promotions and DAZN. Golovkin will be fighting twice a year on this platform for the next three years.
Unlike with many of his fights, Golovkin will no longer appear on pay-per-view. Instead, these fights will be available to all DAZN subscribers.
Golovkin plans to return to the ring in June against an opponent to be announced.
