Nick Ball conquers the WBC Silver title

England’s Nick Ball maintained his undefeated record by knocking out countryman Isaac Lowe in the sixth round, to win the World Boxing Council’s prestigious Silver Featherweight title.
This was part of the “Fury vs. Whyte” card at Wembley Stadium, in London, England.
Ball began the fight dominating. In the second round he dropped Lowe with a powerful combination. In the sixth, Lowe turned his back on him and took another big shot, forcing the fight’s Referee to stop the bout at 1:45.
With this victory, Ball improves his record to 15-0, with 8 knockouts, while Lowe falls to 21-2-3, with 6 knockouts.
On this same card, undefeated welterweight Ekow Essuman (17-0, 7 KOs) defended his British and Commonwealth belts by a twelve-round unanimous decision against Darren Tetley (21-3, 9 KOs).
