MuayThai and Boxing Megastars Set to Duke It Out in Bangkok

The 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 press conference took place today, Friday, July 21st, 2023, at the picturesque outdoor promenade at Bangkok’s Icon Siam with boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao and MuayThai icon Buakaw Banchamek coming face to face to talk about and promote their upcoming western boxing showdown which will take place on January 24 in Bangkok.

The World Boxing Council is delighted to announce a unique WBC Legends ceremonial belt for the event and that WBC rules and regulations will be in place for the much-anticipated contest.

Both legends of their respective sports today received WBC bracelets during the presser. Buakaw is a former WBC MuayThai Diamond champion – Manny is a former multi-weight WBC champion of the world.

WBC Asian Boxing Council President Colonel Thanapol Bhakdibhumi attended today’s festivities to witness the proceedings and to show great support for the showpiece event from the World Boxing Council. WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman and the entire WBC family wish everyone involved great success to honor two great champions.
