Mission Nery!  Recover the WBC crown

Luis ‘Pantera’ Nery and his team are aiming to close in on a title fight this June against the current bantamweight world champion, Frenchman Nordine Oubaali.

Nery and his promoter, Fernando Beltrán, recently commented that they plan to fight at the 122 pounds division, and  then one division higher. But the primary aim is  to fulfill a personal challenge, by recovering the  118 pounds WBC belt, which he lost it on  the scale the last year.

If the fight with Oubaali can`t be signed for June, then they expect it to be in September, but there is also the possibility of going up a division.
