Mauricio Sulaiman dedicates Mexico’s National Sports Award to the entire boxing family

WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán, who`s won  the 2020 National Sports Award, in the category of ‘Promotion, Protection and Impulse’ spoke with the specialized press on “Coffee Tuesday” about his deep and sincere  recognition that he dedicated, from the bottom of his heart, to the entire Great Boxing Family.

He stressed that this award is received on behalf of all those who make up the WBC, and have worked undaunted and tirelessly during the pandemic.  He explained that this is not a personal achievement but rather the fantastic efforts, work and achievements of an entire and united  team,  where absolutely everyone, dignify the sport and help  it to grow exponentially.

“The work we do in boxing belongs to everyone and without their support this would not and could not be possible. I am so very honored to receive this enormous distinction, but above all it confirms the commitment I have with boxing, with society and especially with boxers, since they are the very heart and soul of our sport ”.
