Erickson “The Hammer” Lubin (22-1) and Terrell Gausha (22-1-1), fight on September 19 at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, on a card that will be broadcast by Showtime.
They were originally scheduled to fight last October, but it was called off when Gausha injured a hand during training. Lubin ended up facing Nathaniel Gallimore defeating him by unanimous decision.
Lubin will come into the fight after winning 4 matches in a row since his only professional loss to WBC super welterweight champion Jermell Charlo. Gausha last fought in May 2019, when he drew against former champion Austin Trout.
In this bout, the Silver super welterweight title of the World Boxing Council will be disputed in addition to it being a division elimination fight.
