
Rising star “King” Callum Walsh (7-0, 6 Kos) will make the first defense of his World Boxing Council-endorsed United States Silver super welterweight title against Cuban Livan Navarro (13-1- 0, 7 Kos), on August 26 at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, California.
The event is organized by Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions and will be broadcast on UFC FIGHT PASS.
Trained by Hall of Famer Freddie Roach at the famed Wild Card Boxing Gym in Hollywood, California, the 22-year-old southpaw, originally from Cork, Ireland, Walsh won the WBC Silver USA super welterweight title, by technical knockout of the experienced Carson Jones on June 9.
Navarro, a Cuban schooled boxer, comes to this fight after defeating Puerto Rican Antonio Sanchez by decision, at Avanti Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida.
