Kenia Enríquez BEAMING WBC champion

 Kenia Enríquez won the interim flyweight championship of the World Boxing Council, defeating Ibeth ‘Roca’ Zamora by unanimous decision last Sunday in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. 

In what was the main battle of the card presented by TM Boxing, led  by Eric Ibarra, with the support of Imagen TV and Caliente.mx, the fighter originally from Tijuana, Baja California, Kenia Enríquez, based on excellent punches and taking advantage of his long reach, defeated Ibeth Zamora via a great performance.

Today, we had the privilege of having her present at our Coffee Tuesday, and this is what the new world monarch said.

Having this belt in my hands is a reality. I want to continue working together, I want Mexico to be at the top. It’s not a coincidence, it’s hard work, it’s resilience. One of my biggest dreams come true. All the great champions want the WBC belt and now I am one of them. Thanks to the WBC for this opportunity. 

The fight was complicated, it was an honor to have faced Ibeth Zamora; However, it was the work in the gym that made the difference.
