Keeping Track: Briedis vs. Glowacki

The second World Boxing Super Series tournament in the cruiserweight division continues apace with the semi semifinal between Mairis Briedis (25-1, 18 KOs) and Krzysztof Glowacki (31-1, 19 KOs) on June 15 in Riga, Latvia.

As an enticing plus for this important fight, the vacant World Boxing Council cruiserweight title will be at stake when these warriors step into the Arena ring.

The WBC recognizes the professionalism of both fighters and their respective teams, as they have complied with all the medical requirements, examinations and safety protocols required in spite of  the fact that the fight for the vacant crown was approved only a few days ago.

One of the main priorities of the World Boxing Council is to protect the health of combatants.
