Just over a week until Takuma Inoue (13-0, 3 KOs) faces the World Boxing Council’s bantamweight champion Nordine Oubaali (16-0, 12 KOs) at the Saitama Super Arena, and the Japanese warrior participated in a public training at the Ohashi gym.
The exercises consisted, like many of these in Japan, with an interview after the public training.
During the interview, it was revealed that while Inoue had been inactive for 11 months, he had been training and working all that time, on improving his technique and level.
As for gym work, Inoue performed 2 rounds of shadow boxing and 1 pads round. He looked strong and in perfect condition with his right uppercut and left hook, both very impressive. Despite looking good, he will be fully aware that his fight with Oubaali will be the toughest of his career so far.
