Hassan Mwakinyo retains ABU title

Over the weekend at Kilimanjaro Hall in Ubungo Plaza, Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, ABU (African Boxing Union) super welterweight champion Hassan Mwakinyo retained the crown from him by defeating Julius Indongo of Namibia.

The combat began with both warriors going all out to deliver a KO. In the fourth round Mwakinyo wobbled the Namibian and piled on more pressure without getting a response from his rival.
Tanzanian referee John Chaggu wisely intervened to save Indongo from unnecessary punishment.
