Haney passes 14-day pre-weigh-in

World Boxing Council lightweight champion,Devin Haney, will defend his title against former world champion, Yuriorkis Gamboa, on Saturday, November 7, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Hollywood, Florida.

Haney (24-0, 15 KOs) returns to action for the first time since November 2019, after injuring his right shoulder, defeating Alfredo Santiago in the first defense of his belt in Los Angeles.

Devin underwent successful surgery on the injury and is now good and ready to resume his quest to dominate the lightweight division.

Gamboa From Cuba (30-3, 18 KOs), is a former world champion and Olympic gold medalist. Hers seeking to become a three-time world champion at his third attempt, after unsuccessfully challenging Terence Crawford and Gervonta Davis.

Haney shared his 14-day pre-fight pre-weighing in at 140.8 pounds, showing that he is in excellent shape for this important bout.
