Rising star middleweight Hamzah Sheeraz hasn’t fought since November 2022 after a huge two-round win.
A hand injury that required surgery delayed his plans to return in the first quarter of 2023.
Sheeraz, a Los Angeles resident who trains with Ricky Funez, will now look to improve his unbeaten record against Dmytro Mytrofanov, a 33-year-old undefeated tough fighter.
“It’s time to get down to business, time to step on the world stage and show people who I really am. It’s time to get out there and step up. There were a lot of names out there, but sometimes you have to go against the current and this is a rival of care.”
Sheeraz, who is the WBC Silver champion, is motivated by his upcoming match and is sure that he will get a great victory.
The fight will take place on August 26 at the Tarczyński Arena in Wrocław, Poland.
