Rising star middleweight Hamzah Sheeraz hasn’t fought since November 2022 after a huge two-round win, but now he`s back in “Pole Position.”
A hand injury that required surgery delayed his plans to return in the first quarter of 2023.
Sheeraz, a Los Angeles resident who trains with Ricky Funez, will now look to improve his unbeaten record against Dmytro Mytrofanov, a 33-year-old undefeated fighter.
“It’s time to get down to business, time to step on the world stage and show people who I really am. It’s time to get out there and step up. There were a lot of names out there, but sometimes you have to flow and go against the current.”
The Silver championship defence will take place on August 26 at the Tarczyński Arena in Wrocław, Poland.
