Habazin and Magyar will clash for WBC welterweight title

This Saturday, April 20 at the KC Drazen Petrovic in Zagreb, Croatia, local fighter Ivana Habazin (22-5-0, 7 KO’s) will fight Hungarian Kinga Magyar (14-4-0, 6 KO’s ) for the vacant World Boxing Council welterweight title.

Habazin was initially scheduled to face former champion Jessica McCaskill, who decided to vacate the 147-pound title.

Habazin comes to this fight after defeating Timea Belik in Florida on September 29 of last year.

Magyar defeated Bianka Majlath by decision last December in Budapest, Hungary.
