WBC interim super flyweight champion, Sonia Osorio, will return on October 16th, against Ángela “Chiquita” Nolasco, in the main event “Noche de Puños” presented by Chiquita González Boxing and PHILLIPS-ASSA ABLOY.
It will be the first card of the promoter Humberto “Chiquita” González in which there will be access to the public since the Covid-19 pandemic started, which will be held at the Marbet Hall in Nezahualcoyotl, State of Mexico, and will be broadcast by TVC Deportes through https://wbc.vivetv.network/
Osorio, interim monarch of the 115 pounds of the World Boxing Council (WBC), will clash in a fight scheduled over eight rounds at flyweight with Nolasco (6-5-1), without a title at stake. Angela will try to get her third victory of the year and is motivated by fighting against a champion.
Returning to a Chiquita Boxing card, Marcos Villasana Jr (26-6, 15 KOs) from Acapulco, who is on his way to his twelfth win in a row, is aiming to get closer to a world title fight. He will fight undefeated Ulises “Chino” Moguel (14-0), a tough test for Villasana.
Also, Gabriel Jiménez (4-0) will face Luis García (2-1) at lightweight; Meanwhile, Daniel Haro (2-0) will face Jhosman Gutiérrez (2-1-1), in a four rounds match at super featherweight.
Plus, Agustina Martínez and Fernanda Cortés, both with a 2-0 record, will meet in a 4 rounds flyweight match.
There will be three more fights. Carlos Malpica (0-4) will face Iván “Motorcito” Salazar (3-1); Edwin Barrientos will fight with Juan Cervantes, and Jhonathan Eduardo Mendoza and Saith Colín Fuentes, will collide inside the middleweight division.
