Gohan Rodriguez defeats Taylor Quijada in a rematch

On August 21, Quijada and Rodríguez met in Hermosillo, and offered a memorable highly contested fight where both visited the canvas and which ended in a draw after eight torrid rounds.

However this time around, Gohan boxed smartly to have total command of the fight and thus defeat the previously unbeaten, Taylor.

With this victory, Gohan conquered the NABF super flyweight belt, in the main event presented by 2M Promotions, in San Luis Río Colorado.

Rodríguez (13-1-1, 8 ko’s) landed better punches, used a lot of movement to avoid being tagged.

In the second round, Rodriguez sent Quijada to the canvas with a right hook to the face and  In the sixth, Taylor was deducted with a point for low blows.

Gohan  boxed well and  dominated “Tungsteno” Quijada (10-1-2, 8 ko’s), landed some power shots, but could not even up  the fight.

Gohan Rodríguez took the victory with two 97-91 scorecards, and the other 98-90.
