Ghostbuster!  Ezequiel Matthysse Jr. from suffering bullying to boxing glory

A few years ago, in 2012, Walter Ezequiel Matthysse Jr. suffered a notorious blow,  because of a prank he was subjected to while sleeping.

That video went viral throughout Argentina. This event would be a turning point in his life, since the bullying he suffered, caused him severe depression.  But he persevered to overcome it. 

Apart from boxing, Ezequiel has another great passion which music and he recently released the single: “Calzoncillos Nuevos”. A theme that has different purposes: to tell his story, to give support to those who need it and to praise the power of boxing and music to defeat any opponent, including bullying and depression.

 Through this song Ezequiel frees himself from ghosts of the past, that harassed him for a long time, invites those who suffer from bullying to empower themselves and create and also thank those who were close to him to be able to transcend these problems.

 We invite the family of the World Boxing Council to listen to this great topic, discuss the consequences that bullying produces and get closer to those who suffer from it to help them defeat this terrible rival.
