On October 22, two boxers will make sports history by contesting in the inaugural fight for the Bridgerweight world title of the World Boxing Council. The WBC recently created the Bridgerweight division, which ranges from the upper limit of the 200lb / 90kg Cruiserweight division to 224lb / 101kg.
Oscar Rivas (27-1-0; 19KO’s) and world ranked Ryan Rozicki (13-0; 13KO’s) will enter the ring on October 22, at the L’Olympia in Montréal, Canada, a renovated venue that it has maintained its captivating prestige.
Rivas comes from knocking out Sylvera Louis in March last year in the city of Quebec, Canada. The undefeated Rozicki, comes from a TKO win for the NABA- Canadian cruiserweight title against the same rival in April of this year.
