Figueroa and Lipinets in sync

Former world champion Omar “Panterita” Figueroa Jr. will face fellow former champion Sergey Lipinets for the WBC super lightweight title tomorrow, Saturday, August 20 at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Figueroa commented that he is full of enthusiasm and eager to show the fruits of labor from a great training camp, while Lipinets believes he and Figueroa have the styles to produce an exciting matchup for the fans.
Both warriors passed the official weigh-in of the evening, reporting in excellent condition for this important meeting.

Figueroa registered 139.6 pounds, while Lipinets was 139.7 pounds.
The fight is promoted by Premier Boxing Champions and will be broadcast on Showtime.
