Evan Holyfield, son of the legendary Evander, returned to the ring, to gain another victory, with his father at ringside.
Evan, 22, fought Dylan Carlson at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas. He landed good combinations from the second round to dominate the entire fight. Holyfield got the victory by unanimous decision (40-36, 40-36, and 39-37). He is now 4-0 as a professional, with 3 wins by KO.
Especially significant was his first fight, in which he knocked out his rival 14 seconds after the bell sounded. Before debuting as pro, Evan had 80 fights as amateur boxer. A few weeks ago, he stressed that his goal is to be an even better boxer than his father, who was a world champion as cruiserweight and heavyweight.
