Emulating five Great Super lightweights in WBC History

On Saturday, February 26th at the Hydro Arena in Glasgow, undisputed super lightweight champion Josh “The Tartan Tornado” Taylor will take on contender Jack Catterall in what in a contest of undefeated southpaws.

Catterall (26-0, 13 KOs) was scheduled to face Taylor earlier. However, he stepped aside to allow Taylor vs. Ramirez happened. Now he has the opportunity to become the undisputed world champion, while Josh is determined to retain his belts.

Josh (18-0, 13 KOs) comes from defeating previously unbeaten Jose Carlos Ramirez in May 2021 to unify the division, becoming the first British boxer to win crowns in the four-belt era.

With this victory he established himself as one of the very best pound-for-pound boxers.
