Dirrell and Benavidez…the tale of the weigh in

World Boxing Council super middleweight Champion  Anthony “The Dog” Dirrell, will defend his belt for the first time against former champion David “Red Flag” Benavidez, tomorrow night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

This Friday the official weigh in took place, where both fighters had no trouble marking the division limit.

Benavidez weighed 167.6 pounds, while champion Dirrell was  167.6 pounds.
