Doctors, nurses, stretcher-bearers, cleaning personnel, ambulance drivers and all personnel in the health sector have done a magnificently courageous job in the fight against COVID-19 in Mexico.
For this very reason, the members of Deportes Unidos por México launched the “Searching for our hero” campaign, to recognize these great people for their work, dedication and steadfast courage.
In the framework of International Nursing Day, the main sports organizations nationwide, thank the work and effort that medical and first responders are making to care for the well-being of Mexicans.
Through a call on social networks, each member of Deportes Unidos por México gave themselves the task of finding a representative from this sector to onpass a heartfelt tribute. Thus, the goalkeeper – Guillermo Ochoa, the racing drivers Adrián Fernández and Esteban Gutiérrez, Ramón Díaz – coach of Capitanes, Liliana Mercado and Katty Martínez – players of the Club Tigres women’s team, Lady Shani – Lucha Libre wrestler AAA Worldwide, Mariana “Barbie” Juárez – world boxing champion, among others, surprised fans and gave them words of encouragement and thanks, as well as some gifts ranging from tickets to their events, to team shirts and special kits.
Deportes Unidos por México invites the Mexican fans to recognize and applaud the enormous work of our “heroes” from home.
