David Picasso “Left” nothing to chance!

This morning during the traditional “Coffee Tuesdays” fresh faced David Picasso was audaciously clear in saying that the WBC Super Bantamweight Silver title already has an owner…namely himself!

He is determined to capitalize on the opportunity of which he has dreamed since he started boxing, almost 15 years ago.

Aware that his rival Sabelo Ngebinyana is a durable and resourceful,road warrior, David made special emphasis on sparring with left-handed boxers as Sabelo is a southpaw who will seek to ruin his night; However, this does not intimidate him, on the contrary, it motivates him to give of his best, which is why he assured that he has done one of the best most thorough preparations of his career.

The deceptively baby faced contender for the WBC Silver title, thanked his work team because they are always there ready to train, as early as 4am, starting the day with a pre-dawn run..He also thanked his family and friends,  because they are his source of energy plus inspiration and have always constantly plus enthusiastically encouraged him.

Excited to be able to fight in CDMX in front of his devoted fans, David already has the absolute title fight in mind because if he fervently wants something it is to be the absolute champion, although he knows that the first step to achieve it is to conquer the Silver belt. He says he`d welcome the,Absolute title opportunity within six months!

With the firm conviction, confidence and belief that Saturday will be his coronation night, David thanked all those who in one way or another have led him to this commitment, since he recognizes that without them this would not be possible.

Finally, he urged everyone not to miss out on this war between Mexico and South Africa, as he assured that it will be explosive from the beggining, also in a beautiful and traditional setting…the Arroyo restaurant, a place that breathes boxing and which has always been linked to the WBC.
