Congratulations for African American History Month in the United States

Annually since 1926, from February 1 to 28, the AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH is celebrated in the United States, Canada, Ireland, Holland and the United Kingdom.

This commemoration was created by the African-American historian Carter G. Woodson and was finally officially recognized   by President Gerald Ford.This happened during the bicentennial of the United States.

President Ford urged African Americans to ” Seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout history.”
