Chantelle Cameron will face Elhem Mekhaled for the World Boxing Council interim super lightweight title on Saturday at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England.
Chantelle Cameron is a British super lightweight boxer who turned professional seven years ago and her most recent fight was against Katie Taylor last November, when she lost a majority decision.
Elhem Mekhaled is a French boxer who debuted as a professional also seven years ago and her most recent fight was on May 31 against Eva Cantos, defeating her by decision.
Both fighters passed the official weigh-in this Friday. Cameron registered 139.5 lbs, while Mekhaled weighed 138.4 lbs.
The fight is promoted by Queensberry Promotions and will be broadcast on TNT Sports..
