Britain`s Callum Smith, who`s the World Boxing Council`s Diamond Champion, returns to the ring after winning the World Boxing Super Series tournament in the super middleweight division.
His next battle is against Cameroonian Hassan N’Dam, this Saturday at Madison Square Garden, in New York.
Callum, from Liverpool, was awarded the Muhammad Ali trophy and proved he is the world’s best fighter in the 168-pound division, defeating George Groves.
His first defense will be against the African champion who is looking for a new opportunity in super middle ranks . N’Dam, who also holds French nationality, has a respectable punch and comes to this clash, highly motivated. Callum has a record of 25 wins, no losses and 18 knockouts. For his part, N’Dam has built a record of 37 wins, 3 losses including 21 knockouts.
