At the King Abdullah Sports City in Saudi Arabia, Callum Smith defeated Mathieu Bauderlique, achieving a notable knockout.

The Liverpudlian dominated the Frenchman and in the fourth round he drove him on to the ropes, shook him with a withering attack in which a powerful left hook  to his face dropped him, and if was waved off.
