World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Tyson “The Gypsy King” Fury, and former world champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder, vow they`ll be: “Firing on all cylinders” when they hammer it out for the third time, at the blast furnace, on Saturday October 9 at an ESPN + PPV and FOX Sports PPV event from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
“I’m going to knock out Deontay Wilder and it will be even faster than our last fight,” promised Fury, who defeated Wilder in his second fight in February 2020 to capture the WBC title. “If he couldn’t beat me after three years out of the ring and me losing ten stone, he will never beat me. I can beat everyone. Wilder, Joshua, Usyk, compared to me, they are no good.”
“Hopefully Fury is confident enough to go through with this fight, because I’m going to be a reinvented Wilder on October 9,” said Deontay, who successfully defended his heavyweight title 10 times before losing to Fury.
“This training ground has rejuvenated me. It has refreshed me. The key to victory in this fight is having a violent mind but approaching it calmly. I have all the right people around me and we are looking forward to October 9. I just hope Fury is ready to put on a show for the fans and we`ll make history once again.”
