The World Boxing Council is very proud of the great activity that it will have this weekend, in three important places around the world.
At the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia, unified lightweight champion Devin “the Dream” Haney will face George Kambosos Jr. in a rematch.
Haney and Kambosos met for the first time on June 5 in Melbourne when a boxing crowd of 41,129 packed Marvel Stadium to watch the best lightweights in a world unification quest. Haney neutralized Kambosos and earned a clear points verdict to become the undisputed champion.
Haney-Kambosos 2 presented by TOP RANK, will air in prime time in the United States, live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+.
At The O2 Arena in London, the WBC, WBA and IBF middleweight champion Claressa Shields (12-0, 2KOs) and the WBO champion Savannah Marshall (12-0, 10KOs), will meet in an eagerly anticipated fight for the undisputed 160-pound championship, while, in the main support fight, Alycia Baumgardner, WBC super featherweight champion, faces IBF and WBO champion Mikaela Mayer.

At the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, USA, former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will return to the ring against tough contender Robert Helenius in a World Boxing Council sanctioned elimination matchup.
The fight is presented by Premier Boxing Champions and will be broadcast on FOX PPV.
