Two years since the last time he entered the ring, Andy Ruiz returns with a clear mission: To become world champion again.
The first heavyweight champion with Mexican blood will face Jarrell Miller on August 3 at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, on the undercard headlined by Terence Crawford against Israil Madrimov; and which will be the first Riyadh Season organized outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“There are many things that have happened in my life and sometimes you have to go to the bottom to see the real things that are important and for everything that has happened to me. Now I am more motivated than ever, I am hungry to be champion of the world again, to show my audience, my family and children that I am here,” Andy commented.
“I feel like I’m 30 years old, Baby Miller is someone who is strong and big, but I am prepared and focused on winning this fight. We are friends outside the ring, but inside we have to turn on the switch and start a war.”
Andy seeks to return to the path of victory and then aims for another fight in December that will allow him to get into the rhythm to seek a new opportunity for the world title.
