Alfonso Zamora becomes Angela Sofía’s great-grandfather

Alfonso Zamora is a great-grandfather!

This morning, former world champion Alfonso Zamora became Angela Sofía’s  great granddad.

His granddaughter Karla Sofia, daughter of his son Christian Alfonso, gave birth to his first great-granddaughter at Médica San Juan, in Aguascalientes.

Alfonso Zamora shared this fabulous and emotional news with the President of the World Boxing Council,  Mauricio Sulaimán, since it is an historic date of true joy. Alfonso said:  “I am so very happy. It is such a great satisfaction to be able to enjoy my first great-granddaughter.”

The former champion, who has lived in Aguascalientes for several years, said that this is a thrill and bliss  of knowing that he is a great-grandfather, because not all of us “having that privilege, so it satisfies me enormously and I thank God for being able to enjoy this moment, as I made a lot of mistakes in my past and now I have corrected them and live better.”
