The Great Henry “Homicide Hank” Armstrong, welterweight champion of the world, made the second defense of his title in only 4 days!. He defeated Howard Scott by TKO in the second round. The brief fight took place at the Armory of Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Armstrong set a record for the number of defenses in the welterweight division, with twenty!
