American S.T Gordon defeated challenger Jesse Burnett, by TKO in the eighth round, successfully defending the WBC cruiserweight crown.  The clash took place at the Bryne Arena in New Jersey.  At the time of the abrupt conclusion, Jesse was up on Judges’ Carol Castellano, Harold Lederman and Richard Murray’s cards . The Referee was Vincent Rainone.
