A day like today, Lennox Lewis defended his WBC heavyweight title

Britain’s Lennox Lewis, convincingly defended his WBC heavyweight championship defeating American, Shannon Briggs, via a fifth round TKO, in a bout that took place at the Boardwalk Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The challenger was sent to the canvass three times. Referee, Frank Cappuccino stopped the action at one minute 45 seconds of that round. The Judges were Anek Hongkongkam, Terry O´Connor and John Stewart.
