September 18^th, 1999.- At Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, Puerto Rican Felix “Tito” Trinidad defeated Oscar de la Hoya for the first time ever, via majority decision. Mitch Halpern was the Referee. The Judges were Jerry Roth, Bob Logist and Glen Hamada.
