Californian sensation Bobby Chacon TKO’d  Venezuelan Alfredo Marcano in nine rounds.  With  this overwhelming  triumph,  Bobby won the WBC featherweight title. The veritable battle took place in the old Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The Referee was Ray Solis of Mexico.
